Ibiza Rocks the Snow in Meribel

16th December 2013, by Abi Butcher

The first Ibiza Rocks the Snow festival kicked off this weekend in Meribel — giving early season visitors to the French ski resort a week of Ibiza-style partying.

Every day until Saturday (21 December), there will be live acts and electronic artists, daily après-ski events hosted by the UK and Ibiza’s top clubbing brands, street parties, pool parties (brrrr), a Café del Mott terrace party and a retro chalet party. There is an ice disco at the Meribel ice rink and a snow rail jam with Kevin Backstrom and Tor Lundstrom.

The line-up includes Patrick Nazem, Clean Bandit, Nicola Bear, MC Click Don, Ste-v-Something and Kissy Sell Out — who will play at clubs and bars all over Meribel including the Dorob, Evolution, Jacks Bar, La Folie Douce, La Taverne and Le Rond Point.

The event has been organized by Ibiza Rocks, who have become famous for their Ibiza and Majorca Rocks events. There are two more week-long festivals planned in Meribel — 8-15 February and 29 March to 5 April.

Ibiza Rocks and Ski France have teamed up on this event, and are offering packages including travel, accommodation and entry to all the parties for £399. For more information visit ibizarocksthesnow.com
