Does your child have what it takes to run a hotel? Badrutt’s Palace in St Moritz, one of the most famous hotels in Switzerland, wants to find a Junior General Manager to help upgrade its appeal to families.

For the month of November, Badrutt’s Palace hotel is running the “Junior GM” competition, which offers the winner two visits to St Moritz over the coming year, along with the chance to upgrade the hotel’s family offerings.

The chosen candidate will work alongside hotel director Hans Wiedermann to examine the hotel’s offering for children, contributing suggestions for improvements for younger guests. Points on the agenda include check-in for kids, guests’ feedback to a “kid concierge” and a “Junior GM Palace Game”.

Open to children aged between five and 12 who speak German, English or Italian, the competition offers the successful Junior GM a trip to St Moritz with his/her family and two siblings, all expenses paid, and the chance to host a “pyjama party” on 10 January 2015.

To enter, children (or their parents) need to download a competition form from the hotel’s website, and submit the questionnaire, along with a short video (two minutes maximum) about themselves, their hobbies and their family.

The winner will be picked by a jury of hotel experts, and offered a tour of the hotel with director Hans Wiedemann on 12 December. The successful Junior GM will win a business outfit, travel and room costs, and half board for themselves, as well as their parents and two siblings for a week during the winter season and summer season.

The competition opened 24 September and closes 17 November. For more details visit badruttspalace.com/juniorGM
