Some of North America’s biggest ski resorts have joined forces to launch the Ikon Pass — a seasonal lift pass offering access to some top destinations.

Aspen Snowmass, Steamboat, Winter Park and Copper in Colorado have teamed up with June Mountain, Mammoth Mountain, Deer Valley, Tremblant and CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures are just some of the ski resorts in the Ikon Pass, which will be sold by Alterra Mountain Company for the 2018/19 ski season.

Last year, a deal was announced between Aspen Snowmass and Intrawest that challenged the dominance of Vail Resorts – and its Epic Pass. The newly formed business was recently named Alterra Mountain Company.

The price levels of the pass, and what is offered at each resort, have yet to be revealed.

“We’ve curated a community of iconic destinations. We believe this new pass offers tremendous opportunity and appeal to mountain enthusiast who have a passion for outdoor adventure,” said Erik Forsell, Chief Marketing Officer for Alterra Mountain Company.

In all, the Ikon Pass will allow access to 2,790 trails, 434 lifts and 48,840 acres of terrain. For more information and to sign up for news, visit ikonpass.com
