Jackson Hole in Wyoming will be available on the Ikon Pass

The new Ikon Pass, offering access to some of North America’s most iconic ski resorts, will go on sale next week — with the addition of several new top-notch ski destinations.

The Ikon Pass was announced last month and offers access to 26 different ski resorts in nine US states and four Canadian provinces. Since the Ikon Pass was announced last month some new destinations have been added, including Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming and Sugarbush Resort in Vermonth as well as the Canadian ski resorts of Revelstoke in British Columbia and SkiBig3 in Alberta which encompasses Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise and Mt Norquay.

Under the pass, skiers and snowboarders have unlimited access to 12 destinations, and up to seven days in 13 destinations — for $899. The Ikon Base Pass, which is slightly cheaper at $599 for adults, offers unlimited skiing in nine destinations and up to five days each in the 16 remaining ski destinations. Both passes offer 25% off tickets bought in resort to families and friends of passholders — which includes CMH heli-skiing and summer adventures..

The Ikon Pass is a collaboration of Alterra Mountain Company, Aspen Skiing Company, Boyne Resorts, POWDR, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Alta Ski Area and Snowbird.

Erik Forsell, Chief Marketing Officer of Alterra Mountain Company said: “We continue to curate like-minded partners for the Ikon Pass that add more bucket list destinations for skiers and riders. The addition of SkiBig3, Revelstoke Mountain Resort and Sugarbush Resort brings tremendous value to the Ikon Pass and expands access in Canada and the East Coast.”

“We are thrilled to partner with these three iconic destinations and welcome them to the Ikon Pass community for winter 2018-2019.”
