James Bond spied in Sölden

Daniel Craig, the latest 007, has been in the Austrian ski resort of Solden this week
It’s been a tumultuous week for the ski resort of Sölden in Austria, but on Wednesday, filming began on the new James Bond film, Spectre.
Daniel Craig (James Bond), Léa Seydoux (Madeleine Swann) and Dave Bautista (Hinx) have been filming at the resort’s futuristic Ice Q restaurant. The completely transparent glass mountain restaurant opened in December 2013 at the top of the Gaislachkogel at 3048m.
The last time James Bond was on skis was in 1999, when Pierce Brosnan starred in The World is Not Enough.
Filming is likely to finish next Tuesday, and then start again from 9-17 February. If you fancy checking out 007 for yourself, visit our bargains page and grab a deal to Sölden!
