From next month, Jet2.com will start operating ski flights from East Midlands to Grenoble Alpes Isère

From next month, Jet2.com will start operating flights from East Midlands to Grenoble Alpes Isère. The route is one of nine new regional flights launched for winter 2020 by Jet2.com in its biggest ever ski progamme.

While East Midlands to Grenoble starts in time for half term, on 15 February, running weekly until April. Also new to the Jet2 progamme for this winter is Innsbruck, with flights from Birmingham, London Stansted and Manchester. There is also a flight from Manchester to Verona.

Jet2.com also offers ski flights to Geneva, Turin, Salzburg, Lyon, Barcelona from Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Belfast International, as well as the airports we’ve already mentioned — Birmingham, London Stansted and Manchester.

The company says it has placed a focus on extra flights during popular times — including half term.

Bassma Jarbouai, director of Grenoble Alpes Isère airport, says: “The Jet2 [flight] is fantastic news for us and for the passengers from across the Midlands. This is making Grenoble a destination for winter ski holidays as interest in the region grows and we’re delighted to support the airline’s exciting expansion plans this winter.”

Flights are available with Jet2 departing from East Midlands airport on 22nd February 2020 costing £63 per person return excluding a 22kg luggage allowance or £123 with luggage. To book visit jet2.com
