Join a bobble hat world record attempt

The Fulham Ski Fête is attempting the largest gathering of people wearing bobble hats in the world
Have a bobble hat at the ready and in London this weekend? Head along to the Fulham Ski Fête on Sunday afternoon to help break the world record for the largest gathering of people wearing bobble hats in the world.
The record attempt will take place at 3.30pm on Sunday, 29 September, at Fulham Palace, SW6, as part of the day that aims to raise money for snowsports charities and helping prepare London’s skiers and snowboarders for the winter season ahead.
Fulham Ski Fête takes place on 29 September at Fulham Palace, SW6, from 11am to 6.30pm, in aid of Disability Snowsport UK, Macmilllan and Fulham Good Neighbour Service. Ski tour operators such as Verbier Exclusive, Meriski and Club Med will have stalls on the day, as will local ski brands including 47 Degrees. There will be Alpine food concessions and traditional fête games with an Alpine twist, such as Snowman Skittles, a Snowconut Shy and Splat the Marmotte.
Later in the afternoon, authentic Austrian Oompah band Edelweiss All Stars will provide some après-ski-themed music, followed by music from Mullit — voted “the most popular band in the French ski resorts” for the past two years running. There will also be a chalet-style afternoon tea served.
The day is being run by Interactive Resorts, and entrance is free. A raffle will take place on the day, with the top prize of a ski holiday up for grabs. For more information visit interactiveresorts.co.uk/fete
