Dig out your retro ski gear and get ready for a virtual “Alpine Evening” with charity Snow-Camp on 5 May hosted by Ski Sunday presenters Ed Leigh, Chemmy Alcott and Graham Bell.

From 1930 to 2100 GMT on Tuesday 5 May, “Chalet Snow-Camp” will include all sorts of alpine shenanigans, in aid of the UK youth charity that engages inner-city young people through skiing and snowboarding to provide life skills, training, nationally recognised qualifications and work experience.

First and foremost on the night there will be a retro ski fancy dress competition, with prizes for best dressed on the night, a demonstration professional cocktail mixologist Simeon Gunn on how to make a Mountain Mojito, interviews with Snow-Camp ambassadors Jenny Jones, Frank Gardner and Warren Smith and then live, direct chats with some beneficiaries of Snow-Camp’s amazing work.

There’s a free-to-enter raffle — with a few “fantastic” prizes which are probably still being gathered together — and an opportunity to donate to Snow-Camp on the night.

All you have to do is ensure you have Zoom on your laptop or iPad and RSVP at snowcampalpineevening.com to let the organisers know you’ll be attending; so you can get the access password to join in the fun. Just because it’s on Zoom it doesn’t mean others will see you – that’s entirely up to you.

For more information, and to let Snow-Camp know you’ll be joining them, visit snowcampalpineevening.com
