Join the Great Glacier Clean-Up

Join other volunteers to help clean up the Mer de Glace in Chamonix
Crystal Ski Holidays is looking for two volunteers to help clean up one of France’s most iconic glaciers.
The Mer de Glace in Chamonix is France’s longest glacier and one of the most renowned. Crystal ski joining forces with the British Consulate in Marseille to run its annual clean-up operation and is looking for two volunteers to join their team and help clean-up the Mer de Glace.
In 2016, some 110 volunteers helped clean up Mer de Glace, from which objects including a Swiss passport, a truck tyre and kilometres of cables have been retrieved — a staggering two tonnes last year.
For two willing volunteers, Crystal will include a two-night stay in Chamonix, along with flights and transfers, with the clean up on Friday 15 September and entry to the Eco Festival on 16 September.
The trip will run 14-16 September 2017. For more details and to be in with a chance of joining the clean-up, click here.
