Keys concert a success

Ischgl, Idalp - Keys concert 2010
Ischgl ended its winter season with a spectacular concert at the weekend.
The US star Alicia Keys wowed 15,000 fans at Idalp with a rocking performance. Most of the crowd were skiers and snowboarders enjoying the last of the snow after a five month season that also began with a concert – that of Katy Perry, also a US pop star. The May gig follows a long tradition of musical performances by top names such as Elton John and Kylie Minogue.
It was a fairly bright day but, like many resorts this season, Ischgl has closed with fresh snowfall. Cooler, changeable weather has brought with it a decent layer of powder to Idalp on Tuesday morning. Ah well ....
So who will feature at next winter’s gigs? Watch this space.
