Kings of Leon to play Ischgl closing concert

Kings of Leon will close the ski season at the Austria resort of Ischgl
Kings of Leon will join a long list of musical greats to close the ski season at the Austria resort of Ischgl.
The American rock band will play an open-air, live gig at 2,320m at Iscghl’s “Top of the Mountain Closing Concert” on 30 April, to mark the end of the 2021/22 ski season.
Other big names to have played either Ischgl’s opening or closing concerts include Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Elton John, Bon Jovi, The Killers, Mariah Carey and the Stereophonics.
The concert is part of series of concerts over the month of April as part of an event called Spring Blanc and includes the likes of Simply Red and No Angels. The 240km Silvretta Arena ski area of Ischgl closes for the season on 1 May.
Tickets for the concert are free as part of the Ischgl ski pass — which cost from €125 for a day.
