The traditional and historic Austrian ski resort of Kitzbühel will this year again be open for spring skiing until 1 May, thanks to a world class snowmaking system.

The iconic resort enjoys one of the longest ski seasons in the Alps for a non-glacial area and guarantees snow from October to April. The ski area has 215km of pistes, much of which are north-west facing, which allows for more than 200 days skiing per year.

And there’s much going on in Kitzbühel. This spring Kitzbühel is offering substantial savings on a second lift pass when you buy during March and April (valid for six-day weeks Sunday to Friday or two-day weekends) and a “ski for four days and pay for only three” offer, perfect for skiers looking for a short break.

On selected dates during March and April, the Weekly Partner Bonus Card offers skiers a 20 per cent reduction on a second pass when they purchase one six-day lift pass at the regular seasonal price.

Also during March, Kitzbühel offers a four-day lift pass for the price of three (€137 for adults, €102 for youths and €68 for children), or a “super saver” lift pass, with four days’ skiing for the price of three during selected dates in April.

You can find out which lifts and pistes are open daily by checking here.
