Le Ski releases Yorkshire Day video

Le Ski 31 chalets in the French ski resorts of Courchevel (above), Val d’Isère and La Tania
Chalet company Le Ski has released a short video in celebration of Yorkshire Day, showcasing how it has taken its Yorkshire values the French Alps.
The idea of Yorkshire Day came about during a meeting of the Yorkshire Ridings Society in 1974. They chose a date for the event, 1 August, and in 1975 the first ever Yorkshire Day took place.
Le Ski is based in Huddersfield and has been operating since 1982. It now has 31 chalets in the French ski resorts of Courchevel, Val d’Isère and La Tania.
The 30-second video (below) from Le Ski celebrates these qualities and shows how the company has exported those Yorkshire values to France.
Company founder, Yorkshireman and passionate skier Nick Morgan said: “At Le Ski we’ve taken those values over to the French Alps.
“We offer great food and drink, great sport and, to be fair, their views aren’t so bad either.”
