Last year's revamp of Chalet La Saulire proved immensely popular with skiers

Le Ski is adding two new chalets to its programme in Courchevel and revamping two of its Val d’Isère chalets to provide even more comfort for skiers next winter.

The chalet operator has just announced the revamp of its Bellevarde and Bel Air chalets — both of which sleep 14 guests — renewing lounge, dining and kitchen areas. The move comes hot on the heels of revamps of another Val d’Isère property, Chalet La Saulire, last summer — which Le Ski said “proved to be a huge hit”.

New sofas, new armchairs, new lighting, new flooring, new kitchen and new decorations are going into the two properties, improving the comfort of both.

The company is also introducing a free shuttle service in Val d’Isère, and earlier this summer Le Ski announced it was adding another two chalets to its operation in Courchevel Moriond, where it now has 19 properties that sleep between two and 22 guests.

The news comes as the Daily Telegraph reports that tour operators are culling their ski chalet businesses by one third amid Brexit uncertainty.

“This makes us by far the largest and most versatile chalet operator in the valley,” says Nick Morgan, director of Le Ski. “The general chalet market seems somewhat flat at the moment and we appear to be bucking the trend by adding chalets and doing major upgrades.”

Le Ski has catered chalets in Val d’Isère, Courchevel and La Tania. For more information, and early booking offers, visit leski.com
