Les Gets and Morzine are introducing some money-saving offers on local area lift passes as part of their new incentives for the coming season. And there is a new range of accommodation to sample too.

First up, early bookers can save as much as 20% on the price of a Les Gets / Morzine lift pass when they book accommodation at the same time. This is particularly useful for independent travellers wanting six- or 14-day passes. The deal is available to those booking before 31 October, and applies to all dates except Christmas, New Year and the February half-term.

There’s a new family deal too: all season, a family of four will benefit from a 10% saving on their local area passes when booking together. It’s valid during the school holidays too, but needs to be bought alongside accommodation or online up to three days prior to arrival in the resort (go to www.lesgets.com/pass).

Also new this winter is the five hour pass, a consecutive lift pass that can start at any time during the day – so five hours starting at whatever time during the morning or early afternoon that you wish. It’s helpful for those not racing to get the first lift of the day.

Accommodation options will be wider this winter, with two new choices: an old farm, recently renovated into a charming bed and breakfast; and a new apartment complex run by Lagrange Holidays. Chez la Fine caters for 15 guests and offers a woody, atmospheric place to stay. And many of the rooms are family-sized, sleeping four each. Les Fermes Emiguy is a typical, modern apartment complex, with a pool and fitness area. The 74 apartments are about a 300m walk from the village centre and nearest lifts.
