A luxury chalet company in Les Trois Vallées is offering adult-only weeks in response to increasing requests from its clients.

The Alpine Club, which operates in the ski resort of St Martin de Belleville, is turning its Chalet Abode into a child-free zone for half of January, February and March.

Helen Raemers, co-owner of The Alpine Club, said the company has been offering adult-only weeks for nine years, but this year they have increased the number of weeks available.

Ms Raemers explained: “We are responding to client requests for a peaceful, stress-free, week-long escape to the mountains. No noisy early teas, banging doors first thing in the morning or disturbed adult suppers!

“We’ve been offering adult-only shared chalet weeks for years so are very experienced in running them, and we have now bumped up the number of weeks we offer because they are so popular.”

Chalet Abode sleeps eight guests in four en-suite rooms, and will be an exclusive, child-free zone the weeks of 5 and 12 January, 9 February plus 2 and 16 March.

The child-free weeks cost from £1,175pp based on two people sharing a twin/double room and including seven nights’ luxury accommodation, cooked breakfast and afternoon tea daily, canapés and sumptuous five-course dinners on six nights, six pairs of premium wines, a champagne reception on arrival, plus a complimentary bar. It also includes a daily on-demand in-resort chauffeur service as well as local taxes.

The Alpine Club is offering Where To Ski and Snowboard readers a £50 discount on all adult-only weeks booked before 15 November. Simply mention WTSS on booking.
