Major upgrades for Kent-based catered chalet company Ski Amis

Catered chalet company Ski Amis has made a massive investment into the coming season, giving its chalets a facelift with new beds, bedding, soft furnishings, furniture, towels and bathrobes.

The Kent-based catered chalet company has installed the latest in sleep technology into most of its catered chalets this season – with each and every upgraded bedroom featuring a sumptuous (and British-made) Hypnos bed, the ultimate sleep indulgence. Hypnos beds have such a reputation, they also have a Royal Warrant from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and staff have been working tirelessly to install the beds into chalets for this winter.

Following a review of guest feedback, Ski Amis has also undertaken some extra major upgrades in its six premium service chalets and, along with new soft furnishings and furniture, the firm will now be offering guests a choice of high quality soft or firm pillows on every bed as well as cosy bathrobes. There will be large fluffy bath and hand towels with extras for use in the jacuzzi.

Ski Amis will also be serving guests a “healthy start” option at breakfast, so along with the usual chalet fare of bread, cereals and porridge, plus the traditional full English breakfast (imported bacon and breakfast sausages, Heinz beans together with eggs to order, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried bread), staff will be serving natural yoghurt, fruit salad, exotic dried fruit mix, fruit compote, muesli, dried apricots and sultanas and honey.

“We pride ourselves in the quality of service we provide to our guests and it is important for us to keep our chalets at the standard our guests have come to expect to maintain the high level of satisfaction going forwards,” said Ski Amis managing director, Ed van Zadelhoff.

“We therefore decided to make some major investment in refurbishments this year across the board, along with introducing a few new extra special touches to make our guests’ experience even more unforgettable.”
