The World’s leading mogul skiers are gathering in Åre, Sweden for the bumps’ showdown – the FIS Freestyle World Cup Finals (12-13 March).

After a thrilling display in Vancouver, the series is moving to the Slalombacken piste in central Åre, and a 210m long bump run on a 26.5-degree gradient. The fastest men usually get down in 20 seconds.

The athletes will aim to perform the best technically and flawless series of speed bumps and two aerials on their way down the course – usually to some upbeat soundtrack.

Sweden is hosting the event for the third consecutive year, and their main competitor Jesper Björnlund, is second in the overall standings at present.

The qualification rounds will be held on Friday 12 March, with the finals on Saturday 13 March.
