Monarch adds seats and new ski routes

Monarch has added 14% more seats for the ski season and three new routes
More good flight news for skiers — Monarch has added an extra 338,000 seats to its winter programme for the 2016/17 ski season, including three new routes.
The independent airline has added new scheduled routes from Birmingham to Innsbruck, London Gatwick to Turin and Manchester to Turin. Monarch has also added extra flights to many of its most popular winter destinations, including London Gatwick to Salzburg — a 14% increase on its programme from last year.
Monarch spokesman Marjan Schoeke says it will announce details of further ski routes and additional flights throughout the course of the summer.
“Monarch will be flying more than 2.5 million seats for winter 16/17, a 14% increase on last year’s winter flying programme,” said Schoeke.
“The release of new routes and additional flights for winter 16/17 is great news for our customers as it provides them with 338,000 more seats to the most popular ski and winter break destinations.”
