More fabulous February ski deals

Ski Amis and Le Ski have some great ski bargains for La Tania

Last month we saw some recession-busting bargain ski holidays, but the deals keep on flooding in. So much so that, as the snow finally starts to fall in earnest, we thought we’d flag up a few more for you.

Ski Amis, which has properties in Les Menuires, La Tania and La Plagne, has fully catered chalet holidays during February starting at just £149. The company has this season started working with award-winning professional catering company, Vanilla Catering and Events, which has devised new menus for all of its chalets. Chalet de Bruyeres in Les Menuires, in the Three Valleys, is just £249pp for seven nights for the weeks beginning 1 and 8 February — bargain? We think so.

Skiworld today launches its £1 lift pass sale — so book a catered chalet holiday and you could get your lift pass for just one quid. Prices for holidays start at £510pp, including lift pass. Skiworld also has a selection of better than half-price ski chalets in Europe and North America, starting at £299pp.

If you’re looking to take your family away, Esprit Ski has an incredible deal on holidays for two adults and two children in its Chalet Pepi Gabl in St Anton, Austria. A seven-night, fully catered holiday in this chalet which is right beside the lift and has its own spa facilities, costs just £325pp, including flights and resort transfers. That’s a saving of more than £2,000 per person.

Another child-friendly offers that caught our eye was a free crèche with Le Ski for the week of 23 February in La Tania — which offers a saving of £250.

If self-catering is more your thing, we spotted a bargain with Peak Retreats — seven nights in Les Gets (part of the Portes du Soleil) in a two-bedroom apartment for five in the four-star residence Les Fermes Emiguy (which has a spa area and pool) for just £179pp, including return Eurotunnel. That offer starts 1 February, so be quick!

If you’re looking for a weekend away, Absolutely Snow is offering luxury short breaks in La Clusaz in its Chalet Hirondelle where the singer Sting has stayed, from £295pp.

Finally, Crystal has a fabulous price on “ski and spa” in five-star hotel in Austria’s Gastein Valley — only £430pp half board (at the Hotel Salzburgerhof), including flights and transfers. Utter bliss!
