The launch of two new properties in Andorra this season further cements the country’s position as a ski destination.

Pierre & Vacances are opening self-catering residences in El Tarter and Ransol, both in the Grandvalira ski area that links the better-known resorts of Soldeu and Pas de la Casa.

P&V’s new Andorra El Tarter residence is based in the heart of the Andorran village, most with a balcony and some with open fireplaces, a 400m walk from the resort’s lifts. Residence Andorra Ransol is situated in the quiet village 1.5km from El Tarter. Last year, Pierre & Vacances opened new luxury lodgings in El Tarter.

Crystal Ski has also launched a new offering in the small country sandwiched between France and Spain — La Massana — a family-orientated ski area linked with Arinsal.

Andorra was rated the highest performing European ski resort for customer satisfaction in research released earlier this year by the Ski Club. Consumers rated the quality of skiing, ease of transfer, excellent ski schools and value for money — as well as the extensive choice and quality of accommodation.
