National Snow Show launched for 2021

Sir Ranulph Fiennes will be speaking at National Snow Show in October 2021
A new event for snowsport enthusiasts has been launched, to run over two days in October 2021 at the NEC in Birmingham.
The National Snow Show will take place 23-24 October with more than 140 exhibitors, a host of speakers including Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Billy Morgan, Katy Ormerod and Jamie Nicholls and around 10,000 visitors keen on all things winter sport.
Earlier this year, the Telegraph group announced the demise of the long-running Ski & Snowboard Festival that has taken place in different incarnations every October for decades, traditionally seen among UK skiers and snowboarders as the kick off to the ski season.
The National Snow Show has been set up by Raccoon Events which organises the National Running Show, the National Outdoor Expo and the National Running Show South.
Plans for the show include a retail street featuring leading brands and all the latest gear, a Snow Skills Cabin, Shred Stage, a skate mini ramp, exhibitions from resorts, destinations and tour operators as well as rail jam sessions and a Snow Stage.
Stephen Morgan, passionate snowboarder and managing director of the Active Division at Raccoon Events commented: “The aim of the show is to unite the UK UK snowsport scene by bringing together retail, destinations and the community to inspire participation. The mountains are ours, we need to protect them and make them as accessible as possible for all to enjoy. This thinking is the basis for the strategic pillars the event’s foundations are built on; sustainability, participation and retail.
“We already have a host of key partners and supporters lined up for the event including; Mountain Trade Network, Ski Club GB, GB Snowsport, Eurosport, Graystone Action Sports, Snowsport England, Snow-Camp, POW and look forward to working collaboratively with brands across the market to create the must attend event in the winter sports calendar. Exhibitors will be given an exclusive opportunity to network at our industry drinks event on the Friday before the show, sponsored by Ski Club GB.”
Tickets will be released in October 2020, but more information can be found at nationalsnowshow.com
