Having a few lessons in a UK snow centre is no bad thing before you go away; for beginners, it can be of real benefit before they embark on that first trip to the snow. But what if you could take your instructor with you too?

Inside Out Skiing has worked out a new approach to learning that will combine sessions at a UK snow centre with a week in the Alps, and use the same team of instructors for both parts of the holiday.

New skiers will receive tuition on three sessions at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempsted, London – the UK’s newest indoor ski slope - followed by six days on real snow in Sölden, Austria. A complete holiday service is also being offered, including equipment hire, travel, lodging, lift passes to ease first-time skiers into their winter trip.

Rob Rees of Inside Out Skiing said: ‘We firmly believe that beginners can be better served by using the facilities at The Snow Centre to develop their confidence and learn the fundamentals of skiing before they take their first alpine holiday.  Using the same team of instructors in Austria will help consolidate and build on this progress. This is the best way to ensure that the most value can be gained from that expensive first holiday.’

The learn-to-ski sessions at The Snow Centre will continue throughout the winter.  After the season ends, Inside Out Skiing will offer ongoing coaching opportunities at The Snow Centre to continue their client’s development.
