Luxury apartments open in Andorra

Pierre & Vacances are opening the El Tarter appartments in Andorra next week
The ski resort of El Tarter in Andorra is getting an upgrade thanks to a new luxury holiday complex opening next week. Sandwiched between Spain and France, the Principality of Andorra was once known for its value but has been moving upmarket in recent years.
There are 50 holiday apartments in the new complex at 1,710m El Tarter, which is being opened by family and self-catering specialist Pierre & Vacances. Situated at the foot of the ski slopes at Grandvalira, the largest ski area in the Pyrenees, each apartment in the complex can accommodate between four and six people.
All come with a fully-equipped kitchen, wifi, air-conditioning and a balcony or terrace. The apartments also have the added luxury of hotel services — but these are an extra charge.
Prices for a winter skiing break start in El Tarter start from £1,032 for seven nights for a one-bedroom apartment that sleeps up to four people.
