New ski school starts in Reading

Skiplex in Reading is running a six-week Sunday morning ski school for children
Did your kids really enjoy their half term skiing holiday? They can carry on learning new ski skills in the UK this weekend with a new ski school specifically for children starting in Reading.
From 1 March, children aged between six and 12 years old are invited to take part in the two-hour Sunday morning school at Skiplex Reading to learn to ski, perfect technique and make new friends.
During the initial session children will be allocated into different groups to work together like a race team, according to ability and age, for a total of six weeks.
The groups will have the same coach each week, so the children’s progress and results can be tracked. Skiplex hopes that in time, the skills and techniques the children will learn during the ski schools could lead to an invitation to join race training camps and the chance to compete with the best in the Alps.
The six-week course costs £240, which equates to £40 per week for two hours’ skiing, with a discount of 20% offered for siblings.
