Selva Val Gardena - scenic resort for a family break

Family specialist Esprit Ski has introduced a new chalet this season, for exclusive use by one family at a time. And in one of the best value resorts for cutting costs on eating and drinking.

While you can book entire chalets for your group, tour operators are receiving more requests for smaller-sized properties, ideal for a single family. So, along comes Chalet Oskar in Selva Val Gardena – where you and your clan can sit back and relax, without having to share your dinner table, wine quota and friendly chalet host with strangers … but you still get all the benefits of a catered chalet holiday.

The chalet sleeps four comfortably, but up to six – using the double sofa bed in the lounge. Esprit provide their usual family four-course meals, as well as a range of child care options if required.

Prices start at £669, including flights, transfers etc. And Esprit are currently offering the deal in January, with one child (2-4 years) travelling for free. And there are reductions for March / April weeks too.

Selva is an attractive and sizeable resort, at the heart of the Dolomites; with miles of cruising slopes and featuring among Where to Ski and Snowboard’s list of top 50 budget resorts – so definitely worth checking out for a family looking to save money on pizzas and coke for the kids!
