Party season kicks off in the Alps

Zermatt Unplugged from 8-12 April features a host of new talent this year
Party season has kicked off in the Alps. From today (22 March) to 12 April, local DJs will be playing on the terraces of Verbier’s mountain restaurants, and the resort is offering 4 for 3: four nights at a hotel, and a ski pass, for the price of three.
In Arinsal, Andorra, the Snowboxx festival kicks off tomorrow, with seven days of parties, huge outdoor stages and over 30 club parties.
The more mellow Zermatt Unplugged begins in the Swiss resort 8 April for four days, headlined by Jamie Cullum, Katie Melua and Tom Odell.
In Mayrhofen the Altitude Comedy Festival runs from 31 March to 4 April, starring John Bishop, Al Murray and Tommy Tiernan, followed by the music festival Snowbombing, Now in its 15th year, the event runs from 7-12 April with music on mountain-top stages featuring The Chemical Brothers, Carl Cox and Tom Odell.
In France, the fourth edition of Rock The Pistes runs in the Portes du Soleil from 25 to 28 March — with free daytime concerts (for anyone with a lift pass) on stages across the 12 ski resorts of the area and après-ski club events. Bands include Klazons, Babyshambles and Breton.
From 30 March to 5 April, the BRITS takes place in Tignes. Now in its 25th year, the BRITS includes a mix of live bands and DJs for a week-long winter festival.
The final week of Ibiza Rocks the Snow takes place in Méribel from 29 March to 5 April, with the likes of Zane Lowe, Nicola Bear and Wonka playing venues around the Three Valleys resort.

Over in Colorado, The Bud Light Concert Series kicks off in Breckenridge on Saturday 12 April. Get to the base area at Peak 8 for free concerts, with big-name national acts performing on a specially-constructed, Bud Light stage as part of the weekend concert series!
And in Whistler, the World Ski and Snow Festival “The biggest annual gathering of winter sports, music, arts and culture in North America” runs from 11-22 April.
And if that hasn’t completely exhausted you, Sub Zero Events is planning “London’s biggest end of season ski party” in The Coronet, London, on Friday 9 May with bands and DJs flown in from the Alps.
