Peak Retreats says La Rosière is the most popular resort for family skiing

Specialist French Alps ski tour operator Peak Retreats has been crowned “Best Family Ski Operator” in the inaugural Family Traveller Awards.

The company was picked from a stellar short list of other ski operators including Club Med, Crystal Ski, Erna Low, Esprit Ski, Ski Famille, Ski Solutions and Neilson. Mark Warner was runner-up with Highly Commended.

The Family Traveller Awards, presented last night in The View from the Shard in London. A judging panel including Jane Knight, travel editor of The Times, Sue Ward Davies, travel director of Elle magazine and TV presenters Mariella Frostrup and Simon Reeve created the shortlists from more than 2,300 companies nominated companies. Some 26,000 Family Traveller readers also voted for their favourite company.
