The new airline that will fly between regional UK airports and Sion in Valais, Switzerland, is offering season passes for frequent fliers.

Powdair, which will take its first flight on 14 December 2017, is offering limited availability season passes for this winter. The pass entitles you to a 20 per cent discount when you pre-book 10, 20 or 30 seats on any routes for the winter — and the price for the seat is based on 20 per cent off the cheapest published adult ticket price for that route.

Flights must go to and from the same departure airport, and seats must be booked by the pass holder, but reservations can be made for friends, family and even hotel guests (subject to availability).

There only 2,000 seats are available on this basis and powdair says “when they’re gone, they’re gone”. Any unredeemed tickets are not transferable to the 2018/19 season.

Powdair has also arranged local private or shared mini-bus transfers in Tesla vehicles. Prices for shared transfers for an adult range from CHF30 to Nendaz or Crans-Montana to CHF to Verbier or Zermatt. You can also get a lift to Sion train station for CHF15. Journeys are scheduled according to demand, so book in advance.
