Powder day in parts of the Alps

Weathertoski.co.uk reports ";ots of fresh snow in Sestriere this morning" (vialattea.it)
Skiers in some parts of the Alps are enjoying a powder day today after fresh snowfall over the weekend.
Ski resorts close to the French / Italian border, including the Three Valleys, Val d’Isère/Tignes, Val Cenis, Cervinia and the Monte Rosa all received snow — with some of the heaviest in the Espace Killy reports from Radio Val d’Isère suggest up to 110cm of new snow has fallen on the Pisaillas glacier over the weekend.
It’s good news for skiers headed to the Alps for the Easter holidays — with spring-like conditions set to return this week, according to our snow guru Fraser Wilkin on Today in the Alps at weathertoski.co.uk
If the fresh snow makes you think you can squeeze one more trip in, take a look at Where to Ski and Snowboard’s bargain page and snap up a late-season deal.
