School for the ladies at Sun Peaks

Slopes and village at Sun Peaks
A new branch of the ski school at Sun Peaks Canada will aim to encourage more women to enjoy skiing or boarding from next winter.
Women who may have found learning to ski a nerve-wracking experience, or not really enjoyed the sport so far but are still willing to have a go, might like to meet Chase and Laurie – two experienced mountain guides at the resort. Both are qualified ski instructors and have set up ‘Ski Sisters’, operating as a part of the ski school.
Ski Sisters will try to help women discover their confidence and to develop a passion for skiing, through a special programme designed for ladies only. Women can just spend the day cruising with the Sisters, or work to improve technique, skills and confidence across the whole mountain.
Booked through the ski school, Ski Sisters operates from 9:30am to 12:00pm, from 1:00pm to 3:30pm or as a whole day. A half day will start at $75 and a full day at $135. Up to three women will go out with one Ski Sister (adults only).
