A small independent tour operator is promoting short-stay breaks to the Espace Killy resorts, tailor-made to maximize precious slope time.

Hundred Hills operates just three chalets, two in Val d’Isére and one in Tignes. Short stays are fully flexible, on weekend or mid-week arrival / departure and from three nights. Weekly holidays are also available.

As well as the catered accommodation, Hundred Hills also arranges the nitty gritty details such as lift passes. As co-founder Ben Simpson explains: “Our guests only have a very short time in the Alps and they don’t want to waste time renting skis or getting a lift pass on their first day; so it’s all done and ready for when they arrive, allowing them to get straight off the transfer and hit the slopes.”

The chalets sleep eight, 10 or 12, so of a small group size if going with the family or friends. Each has wifi internet, and the Tignes chalet has a sauna. And Hundred Hills claims no empty bed supplements for unfilled spaces. Prices start from £200 for three nights early season. For transfers from Geneva airport add £100.

Easter Weekend in Tignes is £500pp for three nights from 22 April. Prices are based on two sharing and include transfers and catered chalet board accommodation.  You’ll need to arrange your own flights.
