Simon Cowell heads to Ischgl

Brothers Justin and Simon Scott have carved a 4m snow sculpture of The X Factor judge
Simon Cowell — that man we all love to hate — has taken to the slopes of Ischgl in Austria. Well, sort of.
A 4m snow sculpture of The X Factor judge has been carved on the ski slopes of the Tirolean resort — with an enormous beaming smile.
The ice face was made by English brothers Justin and Simon Scott, is part of the ski resort’s Shapes In White snow sculpture exhibition. The Scotts have taken part in the exhibition 11 times over the 22 years that it has been held. This year, ten two-man teams took part.
Ischgl is quite a change of scene for gardener and tree surgeon Justin, from Driffield in Yorkshire, and Simon, a sales director from Acle in Norfolk.
“We enjoy taking part,” said Justin. “The hospitality in Ischgl is fantastic.”
The snow sculpture of Simon Cowell will remain on the slopes of Ischgl for the remainder of the season.
