Tour operator Ski 2, which specialises in the Italian resort of Champoluc, is branching out with a new operation in Les Gets, France this winter.

Ski 2 has been operating in Champoluc for 18 years, but has this season bought a small tour operator Snowteam Les Gets and will now feature their properties as part of its programme.

“In many ways Les Gets is very similar to Champoluc – an authentic alpine village, giving access to a great ski area – and we believe our clients will love the atmosphere and charm of this popular French resort, especially with a transfer time of just over an hour from Geneva Airport,” said Roger Walker of Ski 2.

Lets Gets is a small, family-friendly resort that shares its slopes with Morzine, part of the wider Portes du Soleil area. Ski 2 will feature two chalets and one self-catering apartments for selected dates. Chalet Delavay, which sleeps up to 11, is just a few metres from the bottom of the Chavannes chairlift and Chalet Fleur de Neige, with its six twin/double rooms, is an easy walk to the Ski 2 ski deposit at the bottom of this same lift. All three properties have been updated with new furniture and soft furnishings, along with new towels.

Ski 2 is employing all of its experience in Les Gets, including optional “Meet and Greet” transfers and a Les Gets/Morzine ski pass included in the price. Apartment Delavay will feature a welcome pack, and guests will have the option of pre-booking and pre-paying for equipment hire along with the financial protection of Ski 2’s ABTA membership.
