The 'new-old' team now running Ski Amis says it plans to maintain the company's high standards

Award-winning catered chalet operator Ski Amis is assuring customers that their ski holidays are safe and it will be ‘business as usual’ as the company goes under new ownership again this week.

In December 2018, Ski Amis was sold to Travel Marketing Group (TMG) by its founding directors and has this week been bought back by its previous management team following what it terms as “a difficult season”. TMG decided not to continue trading “after a season plagued by issues in the industry”.

Time of Your Life Travel Ltd has purchased the brand and assets of Ski Amis from TMG and says it will continue to operate the same chalets and services in a “seamless transfer or bookings and client service” while remaining a totally separate and independent company.

At the helm of that company is a team many existing customers will already know. Danielle Fenton, the grand-daughter of Ski Amis’ founding directors, who has taken over as managing director; joining Danielle is Nathan Parody, new finance director, and Jennie Martin who will be operations director.

In a statement released yesterday, the new management team said it plans to operate “the ‘old’ Ski Amis ethos, to restore the excellent reputation and levels of customer service that the company became known and loved for over nearly 30 years…to maintain Ski Amis at the standards which earned it ‘Best Chalet and Winter Sports Accommodation Provider 2018’ at the British Travel Awards and provide clients with the service and reliability they deserve.”

Time of Your Life Travel will continue to be fully bonded by ABTOT for the financial protection of clients going forward, and will take over the bond responsibilities for all existing bookings — which will all be honoured. The new team assures clients there will be no negative impact for any guests and that all holidays will continue unaffected by these changes.
