The Aosta Valley in Italy is offering free lift passes for skiers booking accommodation through its ski resorts’ tourist offices.

Over selected dates between now and the end of the season, Breuil Cervinia, Courmayeur, Pila, La Thuile and the resorts of Monterosa Ski are offering free lift passes or 50% off the usual rate with selected accommodation.

In snow-sure Cervinia, so long as you stay a minimum of four nights and ski for three days (up to seven nights’ stay, six days’ skiing), between 24 April and the end of the season on 1 May, lift passes are free of charge. In Courmayeur, from 26 March to 17 April skiers can enjoy four days’ skiing for the price of three (Skyway ticket not included). For more information visit bookingcourmayeur.it.

In Pila, book between five and seven nights in a hotel from 9 to 16 April and the ski pass is complimentary.

Meanwhile La Thuile (which shares a linked ski area with the French ski resort of La Rosiere) has put together a series of packages starting at seven nights’ B&B in a three-star hotel with six-day international ski pass for €402 per person (sharing a double).

In the Monterosa, from 18 March to the end of the season, ski passes are free with stays in a three- or four-star hotel in Alagna, Antagnod and Champorcher, and from 25 March to the end of the season in Champoluc, Gressoney La Trinité, Gressoney Saint Jean, Frachey and Staffal. There is 50% off ski passes for all other accommodation — B&Bs, two-star hotels, flats, guesthouses and so on. For more information visit monterosa-ski.com
