Make the most of the powder in Jackson Hole with a trip stateside

If you haven’t yet booked your ski holiday, now’s the time to make the most of some fantastic offers around. Yes there isn’t masses of snow in the Alps right now, but the situation is a lot better than it was this time last year, and if you hop over the pond it’s dumping in North America.

If you’re still not excited by the idea of Christmas at home, what about spending it in the Three Valleys? Ski Amis has a whole premium service chalet up for grabs, sleeping eight people, at just £3,000 — reduced from £7,000. Chalet Elliot in La Tania works out at £240pp if you book the entire thing — and let someone else cook the turkey and do the washing up! What’s more, because Christmas falls on a Sunday, Ski Amis is offering two extra days, so you’ll get a nine-day holiday for the price of seven. More details here.

If Christmas is a bit last-minute, why not get away for New Year? Stanford Skiing in Megève is currently offering 20 per cent off its week-long holidays, which now start at £680pp, but there’s shorter break options, too. More details here.

Beat the January blues with a short break. Megève or Courmayeur are good options, with short transfer times, and Momentum Ski is offering three nights in the Italian resort of Courmayeur for £498pp, including BA flights and shared private transfers.

The cult and much under-estimated resort in Wyoming has been inundated with snow over recent days and is leading the charge in seasonal snowfall with a total 480cm up top already this season. Ski Safari are making the most of some incredible flight rates at the moment with packages from £995pp in January — it could be a great time to head west.
