The Epic Pass now offers five days' skiing in Méribel and other 3 Vallées resorts

The Three Valleys in France is the latest ski area to join Vail Resort’s Epic Pass, which already includes ski days Verbier and the Arlberg as well as the entire season in ten USA ski resorts.

The Three Valleys — or Les Trois Vallées — is the largest lift network in the world, encompassing Courchevel, Méribel and Val Thorens, along with the smaller resorts of La Tania, Brides-les-Bain, Les Menuires, Saint Martin de Belleville and Orelle.

The ski area is offering Epic Pass holders five free days’ skiing — so now for just US$689 (£444 at today’s exchange rate of $1.55 to £1) skiers and snowboarders can spend five days in Verbier, Switzerland, five days in the Arlberg, Austria and the entire season in Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin and Eldora in Colorado, Canyons in Utah and Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in Lake Tahoe. In all, the Epic Pass encompasses 26 mountains in four countries.

Kirsten Lynch of Vail Resorts, which operates what is now undoubtedly the best-value lift pass in the world, hinted that more resorts are on the cards.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Les Trois Vallées, as Epic Pass holders can now ski the best ski resorts in the world, in four countries, on one pass,” she said. “Vail resorts is constantly looking for opportunities to enhance the incredible value of the Epic Pass.”
