Ski Total has launched an innovative “revise and ski” trip for families over Easter, offering revision sessions for children and teenagers in its chalets in Val d’Isère.

The revision sessions are aimed at GCSE, AS and A2 students as well as Common Entrance pupils. Run by experienced tutors from London’s private tuition agency Tutor House, the sessions will cover exam techniques and well-structured revision topics for a wide range of subjects. Students work in formal lessons for 22½ hours per week, allowing plenty of time for relaxation, and fun on the slopes during the day.

“We were approached by Tutor House to partner in this venture and it seemed a perfect fit for Ski Total as we have often heard guests with older children say they cannot ski at Easter time due to children’s looming exams,” said Ski Total spokesman Moira Clarke.

“With so much pressure on children to do well in exams in order to be successful with further applications for universities and so on, it seemed an obvious step to say yes to Tutor House and also be able to offer our guests the best of both worlds – a fabulous ski holiday and time for their teens to revise for exams…no guilt for either parents or teens!”

The unique scheme is open to families who book into any Ski Total chalets or Chalet Hotels in Val d’Isère this Easter, departing 20, 27 March and 3 April. An example price is ski-to-the-door Chalet Hotel Champs Avalins, available on all three ‘Revise & Ski’ weeks with prices at £599pp for 20 March, £799pp for 27 March and £699pp for 3 April, including return flights from Southampton to Geneva, transfers and seven nights catered accommodation including buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and a 5-course evening meal with complimentary wine. The ‘Revise’ sessions are booked directly with Tutor House and cost £500 per child for five x 4½ hour sessions.
