Last year was the first time Eurostar ran a ski service to Switzerland, with trains running every Saturday from 22 December to 15 April.

The French ski train service will run weekly, every Saturday from 20 December to 12 April 2014, with stops at Moûtiers, Aime-La-Plagne and Bourg St Maurice. Return fares start at £149, and the service is perfect for a number of ski resorts including Les Arcs, Courchevel, Tignes, Val D’Isère and Meribel.

Eurostar’s overnight Friday service will also run this year, leaving London Friday arriving in the French Alps early Saturday morning, departing on the return leg late on a Saturday evening.
