Sölden opens new 7.3km toboggan run

A new toboggan run of 7.3km will open in Sölden this winter
A new toboggan run of 7.3km will open in Sölden this winter, from the mid station of the new Gaislachkogal gondola. The new toboggan run will offer a new attraction to the already popular Austrian ski resort — open every day from 08:00 to 16:00, and for floodlit night tobogganing every Wednesday from 18:00 with live music and a DJ every evening from 18:00.
The toboggan run starts at 2,170m on the Stiegele, from the middle station of the Gaislachkogel, running down to 1,366m giving a vertical drop of 804m and an overall distance of 7.3km. The run is classed as ‘medium difficulty’ and costs €30 for adults and €16 for children, or free with a valid ski pass.
The sports shop next to the base of the Gaislachkogl gondola has toboggans for rental, as do some mountain huts. For more information, visit soelden.com
