Editor Gill found a plate of spaghetti bolognaise on the ski slopes for €5

There’s nothing like stopping for a lovely plate of spaghetti bolognaise in the middle of the skiing day. Hot, satisfying and packed with carbs (and parmesan), it’s our favourite (well, Web Editor Abi’s favourite, anyway). But how much did you pay for yours over the 2012/13 ski season?

We’re looking for the best-value spag bol on the ski slopes. Editor Gill has come up trumps with €5 (£4.28 with today’s exchange rate) for a bowl of spag bol in Gressoney-La-Trinité in the Aosta Valley, Italy, while Web Editor Abi Butcher found one for €8 in Schladming, Austria.

Reader John Moss, who follows us on twitter, reports a €7 bowl in Val Thorens while White Side Holidays, from Poland (which is obviously outside our European Alps/North America remit) reports: “Nowhere can beat Zakopane for food prices on the slopes — spag bol with cheese and meat!! 12 Zloty (£2.40) MAX.”

While we’re at it, please let us know what the most expensive dish cost. Send your answers to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or join in the conversation on twitter or facebook. We’ll publish the answer in the next few weeks.
