Summer snow in the Alps

Hintertux Glacier reports 50cm of snowfall
A cold front which is currently moving central Europe resulted in snowfall in the Alps last weekend.
The Austrian glaciers saw the largest fall, which localised over 1500 metres, including the resort of Hintertux Glacier which is located in the Zillertaler Alps which predicted 35cm of snowfall and the Moltal glacier that did slightly better with 50cm reported over the weekend.
There are still about six glacier ski areas across Europe including the Hintertux Glacier which is still operating their summer ski season.
