Try CMH Heli-Ski's new virtual reality experience at the Ikon Pass UK launch in London

If you haven’t every been heli-skiing, now’s your chance to experience it first-hand — well, the virtual reality version, anyway.

On Monday 12 November, CHM Heli-Skiing will debut is virtual reality experience at Ellis Brigham in Covent Garden, at the UK launch of the Ikon Pass, a lift pass that offers year-round unlimited access to more than 35 iconic ski resorts around the world.

The free event, which runs from 18:00 to 20:30, will offer skiers and snowboarders the chance try out CMH Heli-Skiing’s debut experience “Lines of Sight: A guided virtual reality experience”, along with free food and drink, chats with experts on the latest snow sports and equipment as well as a chance to enter a free prize draw. Lucky winners could walk away with one of a number of two-night stays in Ikon Pass destinations, £500-worth of snow sports gear or even the top price — flights to the USA and an Ikon Pass for two people.

The Ikon Pass is essentially the ultimate rival to Vail Resorts’ Epic Pass. It covers more than 35 ski resorts around the world (though predominantly North America) that include Steamboat, Winter Park and Aspen in Colorado, Mammoth, June Mountain and Squaw Valley in California, and Revelstoke, Big Sky and of course CMH Heli-Skiing in Canada.
