With great snow conditions currently on offer in the Alps and US in time for half-term (read today’s snow report here), our thoughts start to turn to Where to Ski and Snowboard 2017 (yes, scary).

Editor Watts and Gill have been on a tour of Austria — read their latest blogs here, including a look at the new link between Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Fieberbrunn that has created the largest ski area in Austria — but there’s only so much we can all do.

We don’t visit every resort every year, and when we do pay a visit it is usually a quick one – a day or two, rather than a week or two. So we really need our own observations to be supplemented by the experiences of holidaymakers from their own ski and snowboard trips.

You are our extra eyes and ears on the ground in resort — we want to know everything about your holiday from whether you rate the lift system, to your favourite place for a beer to whether the ski school was any good. With your help we make Where to Ski and Snowboard Britain’s leading winter sports resort guide.

And we love it when you send us reports.

“Our spirits soar when we come to edit a chapter and find there is a healthy crop of nutritious reader reports in the resorts it covers - so we can be confident that our coverage of bars, restaurants and lift queues is as good as it can be,” says Editor Gill.

There are three ways you can report, via our easy-to-use online reports system — which shorter and more mobile-friendly than ever — by sending us an email or filing a website review.  Although the reporting form only takes a couple of minutes, you don’t have to complete your report all at once but can save your progress and go back to it when you have more time.

Every year, we give away 100 free books to the best reports, and our top 100 reporters go through to a draw to win a fantastic holiday in a top Lagrange apartment.

Please help us make next year’s edition a cracker! For more information on how to file a report, click here.
