Go Ski Go Board is to be launched by Snowsport England and the Tirol Tourist Board

A new scheme to encourage more Brits to try skiing and snowboarding is to launch next month.

Go Ski Go Board is run by Snowsport England in conjunction with the Tirol Tourist Board. It brings together snow centres across England, to offer simple taster, beginner, improver or development sessions in skiing or snowboarding.

The Go Ski Go Board scheme will typically consist of six hours of instruction or slope time split over six weeks, at one of our delivering clubs, dry slopes or indoor snow centres. Prices vary from slop to slope, but the programme is an all-inclusive price with no extra for equipment, clothing, lift pass or instruction.

The scheme is available for individuals, but if you get a group of 10 together the cost is even more reduced. Costs vary from slope to slope, and the participating centres are currently as follows:

Castleford Sno!zone – West Yorkshire
Chill Factore – Manchester
Rossendale – Lancashire
Kendal – Cumbria
Sheffield Ski Village – Sheffield
The Ackers – Birmingham
Gloucestershire Ski and Snowboard Centre – Gloucestershire
Hemel Snow Centre – Herts
Alpine Snowsports Centre – Aldershot
Norfolk Snowports Centre – Norwich
