Val Thorens to open an igloo village

The French ski resort of Val Thorens will open an igloo village with bar, restaurant and bedrooms
Val Thorens in the Three Valleys, France, is to be the first ski resort in the world to introduce a four-wheel drive, self-driving electric shuttle bus.
The driverless bus, which is manufactured by French vehicle company Nayva, will seat 15 passengers and operate around Val Thorens, which will be car-free during the week. The service will start in December and is free to use.
The ski resort is also opening an Igloo Village in December, complete with restaurant, three bedrooms and an ice bar. The village will be close to the village of Val Thorens, so accessible to walkers as well as skiers and snowboarders.
The ski season in Val Thorens runs from 23 November 2019 to 3 May 2020.
