We know the ski season is on its way — the latest Warren Miller film is about to be released.

“No Turning Back”, Warren Miller’s 65th annual ski film, begins its UK tour in Reading on 10 November, taking in cinemas across the country including London, Perth, Southampton, Aberdeen, Bristol, Poole and Aviemore (and many more).

The 90-minute film was shot in HD across the globe from the Chugach range Alaska to the Aiguille du Midi in Chamonix, the powder fields of Niseko, Japan and even from the top of Mount Olympus in Greece and the ma and pa resorts of Montana. No Turning Back features a plethora of skiing stars including Ingrid Backstrom, Chris Anthony, Seth Morrison and Julian Carr — Olympic Gold medallists and Winter X Games champions all doing what they do best in the world’s most interesting and diverse mountain locations.

The UK premiere will be held in London, with a Q&A session with British Winter Olympic medallist Jenny Jones and goodie bags from sponsor Nissan Juke, on 20 November.

UK film tour director Jim Odoire says: “As the only truly nationwide ski and snowboard event in the UK, we give winter sports fans all over the country the opportunity to get together with their friends and get excited about the winter ahead. Every show is a fun and informal social evening that brings together the local skiing community and gives every ticket holder the chance to win prizes at each show as part of our interval prize draw.”
