Now that the snow is starting to fall, and more is forecast, we’ve teamed up with Monarch Airlines to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of flights to the slopes this season.

Start the New Year in the mountains and choose whether you want to head to France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy or Austria with Monarch. The independent airline group flies to more than 40 different sun, city and ski destinations from five UK airports — London Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds Bradford and London Luton, where it is headquartered.

Last summer, Monarch added an extra 338,000 seats to its winter programme for this ski season, including three new routes — which represented a 14 per cent increase on last season.

Monarch now offers the following flight routes, from which our winner can pick their preferred choice. A piece of hold luggage and ski carriage is included per person.
