If you ski, you're a skier all year round, says Peak Performance. We agree!

Exclusive skiwear brand Peak Performance is re-launching in the UK this winter, and to celebrate it is running a pre-season warm-up competition.

After a couple of years’ absence from the UK market, the Swedish brand is now being stocked in Snow + Rock, Harrods and Net a Porter, among others.

Skiers who join the #justaddski campaign stand to win some Peak Performance kit and even a holiday for two on the Hintertux Glacierr in Austria — which opened last weekend following a fresh fall of snow. The snag is you need to be on social media.

To enter over the next month, post an Instagram photo of you longing for winter with the hashtag #justaddski and watch the Peak Performance snow cannon produce fresh snow at the Hintertux Glacier. The more photos you post, the more snow the Peak Performance cannon will produce, and as it piles up prizes are unlocked from the clothing brand’s ski collection.

Whoever takes the best photo of all wins a trip for two to the Hintertux Glacier at Zillertal and gets to start the season earlier than ever.

Peak Performance ask skiers all over the world to post their best photos adding ski to their normal life and tagging them with #justaddski and #peakperformance.

The pictures will be collected at justaddski.com where participants will be able to see the snow pile grow in real time. The competition runs until 29 October.

”One of the beauties with skiing is that even if you just ski a couple of days per season, you’re a skier in your mind all year around,” said Jeanette Francke, Peak Performance PR and campaign manager.

“With #justaddski we want to gather images from all over the world to get people fired up for the ski season and to continue to share images from their ski trips around the world until the season ends.”
